poetry
Simile:
He is fast as a car.
She is tall like a tree.
He is a student but he teaches like a teacher.
He is big as an elephant.
He is strong as a bull.
Metaphor:
A person at jail is a criminal.
She is a flower.
He is a tiger.
The car is big.
The Latinos are the best.
Personification:
The trees move their arms when the air blows hard.
The cars get mad and yell at each other when there is too much traffic.
The lampposts talk to me while I get home.
My bike gets tired when I ride it the whole day.
The soccer ball asks me to play with it when it is alone.
Hyperbole:
The kid ran so fast that he almost flied.
He is so tall that he can touch the ceiling.
He is so dirty that the smell makes you cry.
She was so smart that she died because of it.
He is so fat that when it rains you get close to him and you don’t get wet.
Alliteration:
Brown bats fly at night.
She sells corn in the corner of the street.
They dance on the float floor.
The spider speaks to them.
The school screams to the students every day.
He is fast as a car.
She is tall like a tree.
He is a student but he teaches like a teacher.

poem
I'm like the wind going alone
I'm fast running everywhere
Going from place to place
As trees blowing so we can breathe
So that the trees blow so hard that the lives can fly
The wind winning with his fast blowing
The wind blowing
I start breathing
We bread when the trees blow
Breath when it blows to live
Which trees that blow
Is the only thing I know
I'm fast running everywhere
Going from place to place
As trees blowing so we can breathe
So that the trees blow so hard that the lives can fly
The wind winning with his fast blowing
The wind blowing
I start breathing
We bread when the trees blow

The affects of nature and nurture
People are formed by a variety of personalities. They are influenced by nature, the way people are born, or it can be by nurture, the way people are raised. Both nature and nurture can affect people’s life in a negative way or in a positive way.
Some personality traits that people can have from birth can be such as their physical appearance that they have inherited from their parents. For example some of them could be the color of the skin, eyes and some other that are cause by nature.
Other personality traits that people can acquire when they grow are the way they are raised. This is called nurture. When they copy or do what others do some certain things as the way they eat, and some other that they get when they grow in different environments where they see how people behave and interact with each other.
Both nature and nurture have a great role in the person’s development. Nature affects the physical development of a person, determining his or her physical appearance in most parts. On the other hand, nurture affects how the person does things or acts the way he or she acts. For example a person who is gay can be the result of either nature or nurture.
People decide to experience things like if the person born with a specific sex it could be a boy or a girl and they try to experience with a person with the same sex these is the result of nurture.
In conclusion people are formed by a variety of personalities this influence them to interact in some different ways. It can affect them negatively as well as positively this can influence them to become a good or a bad person depending on their nature and their nurture.
